Role Description

The Paramedic role is a full-time, on-site position based in Wichita Falls, TX. This role is assigned to a stationed based 24/48 (A,B,C) shift schedule. In this role, you will respond to emergency calls, assess patients, provide an appropriate level of care including life-saving interventions, and transport patients to healthcare facilities both inside and outside the Wichita Falls area. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals, communicate effectively in all circumstances, and accurately document patient information. Maintaining equipment and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations will also be key aspects of your daily responsibilities. Additional training in advanced practices will be provided. These include ventilators, infusion pumps, CPAP/BiPAP, expanded scope medications, and more.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and skills in emergency medical care, patient assessment, and pre-hospital treatment
• Proficiency in using advanced medical equipment and administering medications
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make swift, accurate decisions in high-stress situations
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
• Compliance with patient and safety protocols, along with a commitment to patient care and confidentiality
• Texas Certified as a Paramedic and current CPR/ACLS certifications are required
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record are necessary
• Experience in emergency medical services is preferred
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy medical equipment and patients
